THE STENHØJ GROUP
The STENHØJ Group is Danish-owned and situated in Jutland, Denmark. STENHØJ as a company was founded in 1917; and has since then specialized inside the same three business areas; i.e. automotive lifts, compressors and hydraulic presses. Since 1993 a fourth business area has been added to the existing three business areas - i.e. service.

STENHØJ was founded in 1917 by Sigurd Stenhøj, stayed in the Stenhøj family until 1986, and was in December 1986 taken over by an investment company ORION. In November 1993 STENHØJ was taken over by the Nielsen family, and is once again owned by a family.

Since 1993 the STENHØJ Group has grown considerably and consists today of 11 subsidiaries and 2 associated companies, employing totally around 500 people in 6 countries and exports goods to more than 80 countries worldwide. Our key strategy during recent years has been to strengthen our position on the UK market, and STENHØJ has since 2000 acquired three UK companies - all operating within the automotive industry.

STENHØJ is first and foremost a collection of people with feelings, ideas and visions. In other words, our personnel plays a major role in the company's overall quality level.
We have built a team of highly qualified employees, who possess the commitment, creativity and knowledge to be able to achieve the high level of technical expertise we aspire to.

STENHØJ products are distributed through exclusive distributors worldwide. The three main product groups are manufactured by the individual STENHØJ companies; the main target group being the automotive industry.
